Finding a Vacation Rental is easy, right?

If you’ve ever tried you’ll know that this is not quite true!
It may be “easy” to find places that list vacation rental homes (the internet is full of them) but what do you do then?
How do you compare them all?
How many do you send a request to?
How do you narrow down the list to a manageable number?
How do you know what to ask to ensure that you get what you need?
It’s really not that easy to do.
Many times, as an owner myself, I speak to potential guests by phone and they’ve had so many inquiries and responses to deal with that it’s difficult know who’s who and what’s what. You almost need a degree in accounting and statistics in order to record and compare all of the information that’s needed.
Even worse is that you keep on finding new things that you need to know in order to compare them - needing to go back over properties again. Often I think that travelers give up with the details after trying to deal with so many things over the weeks it can take to find the right place.
This blog tries to help a little by showing you what to expect and what to look for in a vacation rental home so that you will have a little less stress!
